Hello, job seekers. I see a lot of you still struggling, so I’d like to share my favorite resources.

But before you do all of that, please: Consider Google.
- Google yourself and act accordingly.
- Clean your Facebook/Twitter/etc up. It’s not a place for your drama, really. And if you’re the kind of employee who sits on the Internet complaining about things—including your current or lack of current employer—you’re not someone people want to hire. And, no, your privacy is not guaranteed regardless of your settings; stop fooling yourself.
- Update your LinkedIn profile. Even if you’re convinced you won’t find a job there, it’s an easy way to get your resume (and recommendations) on Google.
- Consider a vanity url (example: www.shaunanicholson.com). It’s the easiest way to get your name at the top of the Google search. Sites like Wordpress and Tumblr make it super easy.
